About the Event

The Inaugural Piedmont Promise Party

This year’s Piedmont Promise Party will benefit Piedmont Heart Institute’s Women’s Heart Program.

Since 2013, the Women’s Heart Program has performed over 2,000 heart screenings for women across the state and served over 3,000 women as part of their Women’s Heart Support Network. In 2023, the Women’s Heart Program introduced a new multi-disciplinary Cardio-Obstetrics Program to support women who would benefit from specialized cardiac care before, during and after pregnancy.

Heart disease is the number one killer of women in the United States, but perhaps even more alarming is that cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of pregnancy-related deaths. Georgia ranks among the five top states for increasing maternal mortality.

Through our Promise Party, we aim to highlight the importance of cardiovascular care for all women, especially pregnant patients, and to make a positive impact on their care here at Piedmont Atlanta.
